The Massawippi Valley Health Centre (CSVM) is proud to announce the arrival of new professionals to better serve you.
Dr. Geneviève Roy-Proulx, general practitioner, began her practice on October 2nd, 2017. She will be present every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the CSVM. In the first year, this young general practitioner should become the family doctor of a minimum of 500 patients.
Note that the new doctor is recruiting her patients via the waiting list to find a family doctor (Guichet d’accès à un médecin de famille - GAMF). Patients who do not have a family physician must be registered on this GAMF. You can register online (sante.gouv.qc.ca), in the "programs and assistance measures" section, or by dialing the number associated with your region of residence. Our receptionist will be happy to help to registering on the waiting list.
Dr. Marie Sauvé, general surgeon at the Magog hospital, practices two Mondays a month at the CSVM. She will do minor surgeries and consultations.
Dr. John Westerlund, a medical biochemist, is at CSVM when needed. He is specialized for the ill-controlled problems of diabetes, hypertension and thyroid gland.
If you are a member of the CSVM and have not yet had the opportunity to use our services, we invite you to make an appointment with one of our nurses to open your medical file.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and your interest in the well-being of the community.
